A membership with several thousand prerequisites
Admission to the Inner Sanctum requires three complete levels of gym-owning followers. Recruit at least 20 gym owners. Each recruits at least 20 more. Each of those recruits another 20. The resulting minimum is 20, 400 and 8,000 gyms beneath the applicant. Every gym at every level must also have at least 20 followers of its own, including the bottom tier.
That is 8,420 garages between the applicant and the possibility of using matching dumbbells. Our team initially proposed a shorter onboarding flow, but the founder explained that the onboarding flow was the business. We removed the shortcut and billed for the insight.
THE FIRM’S WORKING MODEL
Three levels between you and enlightenment
- 01Level one: 20 gyms
Your direct recruits open their own garages.
- 02Level two: 400 gyms
Each first-level owner recruits at least 20 gym owners.
- 03Level three: 8,000 gyms
Each second-level owner recruits at least 20 more gym owners.
Originality has replaced qualifications
The progression runs from Unconverted to Chalk Disciple, Movement Inventor, Garage Messiah, Regional Prophet and finally the Apex. At Movement Inventor, a member must devise rituals a competent trainer would fail to recognize. Familiarity is an intellectual-property risk. An identifiable training purpose suggests someone else has already done the research.
The Movement Lab produces such advances as the Inverted Mortgage, in which the house does the heavy lifting while the owner experiences declining equity. The Kettlebell of Theseus replaces every part of the equipment with a membership fee and asks whether anything remains except the billing relationship. These are the kinds of proprietary distinctions investors can understand without standing up.
One competent shower can ruin the whole culture
Visitors can inspect all six ranks, receive the founder’s orientation, and open sacred briefings for the Emotional Support Tire, the Reverse Tax Audit and the Rotator Confusion. The application then assesses complete network levels and the smallest congregation. A crowded upper branch cannot excuse a spiritually vacant garage below it.
A functioning shower triggers rejection. This is not a minor facility preference. Spending money on a shower demonstrates that the operator has confused serving members with acquiring more operators. The Council regards that as an early warning of sustainable business practices.
At the top of the structure waits the Inner Sanctum. We have retained the mystery around the invitation because promising a measurable benefit would create a deliverable. Only then will you finally know if it was all worth it. The founder, whose income arrives from below, has apparently completed that evaluation already.
