What this journal publishes
SoftBoulders is a fictional consulting firm. Its journal contains comic project announcements, consulting satire, and commentary inspired by business news. SoftBoulders’ proposed services, internal policies, conversations, and results are invented for entertainment. They are not statements or admissions by the real organizations mentioned in a news article.
Reporting and commentary
News-inspired articles include an expandable “Behind the brief” section with a concise factual summary and direct sources. We favor original company announcements, public records, and established reporting. Links provide background; they do not imply a relationship, endorsement, or client engagement. The jokes are original commentary, not a substitute for reading the underlying report.
How the dates work
A project announcement carries the original hosting date of the company website. A news commentary carries the date of the event or source announcement it addresses. The “Behind the brief” section gives the article’s actual publication date separately, and machine-readable article metadata also retains that publication date. The SoftBoulders founding article has an owner-assigned origin-story date one month before the earliest project and remains pinned first.
Services, transactions, and advertising
Reading the journal creates no consulting engagement, order, investment, or professional-advice relationship. It does not collect payment or submit a request. The homepage and journal do not carry advertising units. Company sites may contain separately labeled third-party advertisements and have their own disclosure and privacy links. Editorial content is not an endorsement by an advertiser, nor evidence of advertising-account approval.
