SoftBoulders has completed the Stair Monster site, presenting a firehouse training platform built on a practical observation: a normal stair climber prepares you for stairs. Buildings tend to bring additional problems.
The brief starts with a credible operational constraint. Fire crews need to train while remaining available for calls. Traveling to a distant high-rise creates its own logistical exercise before anyone begins climbing. Stair Monster proposes bringing the vertical challenge into the station, then adds enough optional adversity to give procurement something to discuss until the next budget cycle.
Start with rotation. Escalate responsibly on paper.
The Stair Monster 360 introduces continuous rotation alongside the climb, addressing the difference between walking straight upward and repeatedly turning through a stairwell in gear. From there, the range expands into increasingly ambitious environmental conditions.
We organized seven models into a progression that visitors can inspect and compare. Each machine retains its full illustration because cutting off part of the scene would risk making the proposal look sensible.
Translate spectacle into a purchasing conversation.
The operational case, model comparison, and funding calculator give the site the structure of an equipment supplier. That structure matters: the joke becomes sharper when an extravagantly unreasonable machine receives the same calm evaluation framework as a replacement compressor.
Visitors can examine the product scenes at full size and compare the escalation in features and departmental commitment. The site keeps the core premise visible throughout: crews remain near the apparatus while the training environment becomes increasingly theatrical.
Our handover recommendation is to begin with the readiness requirement, review the available space, and only then consider whether the station needs an indoor weather event. The manufacturer would prefer to reverse that sequence.
