Office of dimensional self-determination
USE ANY UNIT YOU DAMN WELL PLEASE.
We accept mixed systems because your torso did not sign the Treaty of the Meter. Inches, centimeters, millimeters, hands, cubits, barleycorns, machinist blocks, shop-rag widths, or a private unit defined in a garage are all valid if another person can understand what you mean.
The only actual rule
DEFINE YOUR UNIT.
A measurement is useful when it has a quantity and a reproducible reference. If your neck is "17 freedom units," tell us what one freedom unit equals. If one freedom unit is the width of your favorite socket, identify the socket. If the socket is 10 mm and currently missing, welcome to precision manufacturing.
Accepted examples
Historical units vary. If you use one with multiple definitions, state yours. Liberty is not an excuse for bad metrology.
Practical guide
MEASURE THE BODY, NOT THE IDEOLOGY.
Use a flexible tape or another repeatable reference. Stand naturally. Do not inhale like you are being photographed for a militia calendar.
1. Neck
Measure around the base of the neck where a collar sits. Keep one finger of ease under the tape unless your preferred political philosophy also opposes blood circulation.
2. Chest
Measure around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep the reference level.
3. Shoulders
Measure across the back from shoulder point to shoulder point. This is a straight span, not a constitutional arc.
4. Sleeve
Measure from the shoulder point down the outside of the arm to the desired cuff position with the arm relaxed and slightly bent.
5. Body length
Measure from the high shoulder near the collar down to the hem location you want. Your preferred amount of untucked rebellion is relevant.
6. Existing shirt method
For a proven fit, lay a favorite shirt flat and record the same dimensions. This is often more repeatable than interrogating your own shoulder geometry.

DECLARATION OF DIMENSIONAL AUTONOMY
Each field has its own free-text unit. We do not convert or "correct" it. The tool records exactly what you type and generates a local writ suitable for printing, screenshotting, or leaving on the desk of a standards inspector.
Ungoverned Threads
Writ of Dimensional Autonomy
I hereby declare the following measurements under a unit system of my own voluntary choosing, without prejudice to inches, centimeters, cubits, barleycorns or whatever happened in the garage.
Authority: the person whose body this is.
What happens to the data?
Nothing outside this page. The generator runs in your browser and does not submit the form anywhere. Refresh the page and the writ disappears with the dignity of a zoning board confronted by a survey plat.
