If every person recruits six new people, the first five layers require 6, 36, 216, 1,296 and 7,776 people. That is 9,330 people beneath one enthusiastic founder. At the tenth layer alone you need 60,466,176 new recruits. Your high-school alumni group may be slightly undersized.
This is why we prefer the word “limitless” to a spreadsheet. A spreadsheet keeps finding limits.
